Trained as a social worker with an advanced generalist specialization, I have experience in providing direct services and engaging with the community for various non-profits. My individual services have included assessing clients needs, developing and evaluating interventions, and leading group sessions. Individually or collaboratively, I have implemented major projects such as distributing $20,000 in financial aid to those at risk of homelessness, recruiting over 25 partner organizations to provide educational and employment services to clients, and launching a community calendar for local public events. Beyond direct services, I am strong in areas of research and analysis, evidence-informed practice, and program evaluation. This includes finding and critically evaluating professional literature, matching evidence-based practices with target populations, and the ability to examine, evaluate, and articulate an organization's program model. My mission is to make the world a little better and bring value to my relationships - whether that be with clients, colleagues, employers, or organizations. When my two passions of helping people and research intersect, I am truly fulfilled.
