Dr. McKee has been involved in International educational development continuously since 1974. He started his career by working on some of the first educational development projects funded by the World Bank and has continued to be active in educational development at regional, national and local levels. He is on the governing board of Worlddidac since 2012, which is the premier international association for educational manufacturers. In November of 2018 he was elected as the President of the Worlddidac association (www.worlddidac.org)His career has included extensive consultant work, educational planning, project development and planning, project execution, marketing, educational system design, international business development, international finance and educational technology development. Dr. McKee has been based full time in Asia since 1984 and is extremely familiar with all phases of education within the Asian Region especially within S.E. Asia in which he has long-term in-depth experience. He is considered by many to be a visionary educational futurist that advocates realistic and practical solutions to advance educational development and improve the teaching and learning process. He is frequently called upon to give speeches and presentations at seminars and conferences on a wide range of topics concerning education and development. He has a personal interest and commitment to the development of education around the world.He is the founder of Labtech International which he created to meet the needs of technology training in developing nations. Since it was founded in 1990, Labtech has grown to be one of the largest technical education companies in Asia with clients in over 80 countries. Labtech has over 1,000 training systems in seven key technology areas which are able to deliver employable skills training a a wide range of settings.He has a passion for education and over the past five years has been increasing involved in finding solutions for the use of ICT technology in education to provide a platform for adapting the educational process to the 21st century.
