About Steven H.

Steven Hu is the head of growth at Preveta where his love for people and belief in technology is going hand-in-hand to transform chronic care, especially cancer care. He's on a mission to keep patients from falling through the cracks and believes that technology can help make that a reality for practices and patients alike. He has 20+ years of software and data experience in a variety of industries (healthcare, sales & marketing, pharma, tech, etc). He has led teams of 50+ people with success in combining off-shore, on-shore, full-time, and contractors so that everyone feels like one team.Prior to Preveta, he envisioned, piloted, and launched an enterprise marketing platform that managed $50mm in recurring, annual marketing spend for the likes of Tyson, Land o' Lakes, Best Foods/Hellmans, etc. He's also no stranger to breaking ground in new areas, having led the effort to launch a SaaS tool (first of its kind) that analyzed and compared brands against their competitors, showing where they were losing and where they could make immediate gains. That product garnered its first paid subscriber by the time he left the organization. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley (go bears!) with dual degrees in Computer Science and Molecular and Cell Biology. He now resides in the Los Angeles area, enjoying sports, books, and food.
