During my Master’s degree, I completed a five month business internship in the Human Factors department of the Lufthansa Flight Training Center in Frankfurt. I was given responsibility for researching various psychological topics relevant to the aviation industry, conceptualising seminars and workshops for pilots and flight attendants, as well as external clients including the ‘Deutsche Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie e.V. (DGOU)’, the ‘Deutsche Bundes-bank’ and ‘TenneT’. Working simultaneously on such a range of projects gave me vital experience and improved my planning- and time management skills, team- and communication skills as well as my ability to perform under pressure. Through this experience I found that one of my major strengths was communication, bringing departments together which depended on each other and efficiently improving their cooperation.
