Provide technical and program support to Naval Sea Systems Command, VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office. Assists senior level engineers and project managers in managing the acquisition, development, certification, maintenance, and repair of certified systems for VIRGINIA Class Submarines. Significant Accomplishments:-Developed a new process for electronic record management storage. Took approximately 75 files per certification (71 Total) and turned them into a single navigable PDF allowing easier access to archived certification data allowing less strain on the storage system and time searching for needed official records.-Directly supported the USS Minnesota (SSN 783) and USS North Dakota (SSN 784) certification and delivery process. Liaised with the shipyard, Fleet, and field activity personnel to ensure all certification requirements were met and briefed to senior leadership to ensure on time and under budget completion.-Directly supported the review, updating, and issuing of multiple Operating Procedures to include the VIRGINIA Class Certification Compendium, which gives all the Objective Quality Evidence requirements a new construction or major overhauled VIRGINIA Class submarine must meet to be certified for at-sea operations.

Functioning as key project manager, travels in advance of the President of the United States to coordinate and execute the installation of radio and IT infrastructure prior to the President’s arrival. Leads high-level coordination between multiple agencies and technical direction of Joint-military teams, State Department, and contracted civilian personnel.Significant Accomplishments:-Served as key project manager for the 56th Presidential Inauguration (largest in history). Coordinated, implemented, and managed all logistics, operational, and credentialing requirements for 25 teams consisting of 226 personnel and 57 vehicles supporting 27 events over a 36 hour period. Worked with multiple government agencies to include, the United States Secret Service, Capitol Police, and Presidential Inauguration Committee to ensure a flawless execution.-Managed $7.5M+ in services rendered in support of 60 global Presidential travel missions. Government Purchase Card Holder since 2007 (30K monthly limit/3K single purchase limit).Led 1400 personnel on 63 global Presidential missions covering 592 days; coordinated the transportation of all personnel and 16K pieces of equipment (1.5M lbs) worth approximately $480M with 100% accuracy.-In support of the President of the United States, served as sole operations, logistics, and financial manager for the first ever dual country NATO Summit in Strasbourg, France and Baden Baden, Germany which was one of the most challenging missions in the Agency’s history. Coordination was handled in two countries through two U.S. Embassies.-Assisted in managing a training program for 40 personnel, directly contributing to a 45% increase in team qualifications.

Functioned as subject matter expert (SME) on all naval submarine communications including all associated equipment, protocols, and encryption systems across all frequency spectrums. Served as manager and technical expert for all maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensured day-to-day operations of communications and personnel were maintained to the highest level.Significant Accomplishments:-Directed the successful installation, testing, and verification of all submarine communication systems for three Western Pacific deployments ensuring 100% readiness.- While deployed, coordinated four critical repairs to the Type 18 Periscope, enabling the submarine to complete two missions vital to national security.- Managed the installation and upgrade of multiple submarine C4I systems totaling 2500 hours.- Maintained complete inventory of cryptographic equipment and keying materials through three deployments.- While operating on a mission vital to national security; carefully analyzed, troubleshot, and repaired a mission critical Extremely High Frequency power interface unit allowing the ship to remain on station and successfully complete its mission. - Ensured 150 personnel maintained an active security clearance allowing the ship to maintain 100% mission readiness. - Upon taking over as Security Manager; identified over 30 deficiencies of outdated security clearances. Processed 30 Secret and 25 Top Secret security clearances to ensure the ship was able to meet all mission requirements.- Managed schedule for 60 personnel, ensuring maximum flexibility through a deployment.- Hand selected by high-level leadership to lead, mentor, and train another submarine’s communication division for a Western Pacific deployment due to the failure of a pre-deployment inspection. Trained, mentored, and qualified all division personnel which resulted in the communication division receiving an above average score on their next deployed submarine assessment.
