UnitedHealth Networks (UHN) procures over $100B annually in healthcare services on behalf of the entire UHG Enterprise by directly contracting with physicians and hospital systems. UHN manages all procurement activites and operations associated with management of provider demographic information, contract rate data, and reimbursement policy and administration for all claim platforms across more than 15 affiliated entities. As CIO, responsibile for the development and execution of large-scale technology initiatives and operationalizing those technology solutions to meet changes in business strategy. This includes both ongoing maintenance as well as new solution development in areas around procurement functions, contracting, pricing, new reimbursement methodology implementation and claim pricing through the application of reimbursement methodology.
