Conducted and attended seminars on politics and economics of post-modern India. Worked in the Institute's Population Studies Centre on issues concerning economic development, poverty reduction, health care, etc.

C-HCCAA is a member of the National Community Action Partnership which is a related/cognate organization of the American Political Science Association (APSA). Research at C-HCCAA included the preparation of reports for management on information pertinent to characteristics of populations served and economic/employment, health, nutrition, and wellness trends. Conducted agency and community assessments to aid in the development of projects by looking at education, poverty, unemployment, and homeless rates. Gathered information from diverse sources to support proposals. Worked with staff to create proposal budget preparation, scopes of work, and other critical grant elements. Researched, wrote, reviewed, and submitted grant applications, letters of intent, and other proposal correspondence/documentation. Examined facilities to ensure they are able to meet the demands placed on them over time by population changes. Assisted with drafting of legislation on social issues as they arose, such as the needs of the families served by the organization. Prepared materials for community relations programs, spoke at civic meetings, and appeared before legislative committees and elected officials to support and explain project proposals. Conducted community and organizational assessments and made recommendations on agency practices for continued growth and quality improvement.
