I've worked in the Graduate industry for over a decade now, and lead the Graduate Talent Acquisition team for GHD, a global professional services company. The GTA team design & deliver the recruitment experience for students across Australia & New Zealand. I'm also a passionate STEMinist and have advocated for gender equity across the broader Engineering industry for many years.In a previous life I also led Aurecon's Emerging Talent Recruitment programs and formed a part of their broader Recruitment & Sourcing team so have built up a wealth of technical recruitment knowledge as well.In addition to my work with GHD, I also have an involvement with the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE). In addition to my current responsibilities for recruitment across our Victorian and South Australian operations, I lead our graduate recruitment strategy for the ANZ & Asia region and have now successfully delivered multiple campaigns, including several where we have instigated new brand changes.This has involved delivering our marketing & attraction campaign for graduates, refining our graduate recruitment strategy and back-end processes to deliver a process which aligns with our EVP, is informative to our candidates and affords them an opportunity to work within a career closely aligned to their aspirations.Our major successes with the programme to date have been:- Driving Facebook as our predominant communication channel for Graduates, removing the requirement for email and allowing our Facebook followers to stay connected with the business over an extended period of time- Linking our corporate magazine, the 360 into the Graduate space, combining our staff-driven articles around thought leadership with information pertinent to aspiring professionals relating to our culture, our people and our Emerging Professionals Programme- Addressing our external communications strategy and partnering closely with our Employer Brand Manager to ensure that the look and feel of the programme not only aligns with our Emerging Professionals EVP but that it also confirms to our external style guidelines. This also included a major rebrand for the campaign in 2012, 2015 & 2017 to align more closely with our corporate brand and start the globalisation of the programme- Mentoring my counterparts in Africa to deliver a similar recruitment & marketing process for their regional campaigns since in 2013- Engaging senior leaders in the business who have a passion for Emerging Professionals and allowing those passions to be realised within the campaign, during career expos, creating video content and thought leadership articles to help articulate some of our technical visions.
