Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is an intergovernmental partnership of 115 countries promoting shared and open data and information on Earth observations. The GEO community also includes almost 150 partners including research institutions, data providers, businesses, engineers, scientists to promote broad open data sharing to improve the state of our planet.

The CHS Alliance is a global alliance of humanitarian organizations committed to making aid work better for people.I provided leadership to key organizational functions including strategic planning and resource management, operations, finance, risk management, governance and Board liaison, human resources, IT and compliance. Member of Senior Management Team. Lead and mentor a team of 6 specialists. Key achievements, besides core responsibilities: • Advised the Executive Director on organisation restructuring, including financial and staff scenario planning. • Updated finance, code of conduct, safeguarding and staff regulations policies, including Board approvals.• Introduced new budgeting structure and financial reporting for improved decision-making.• Introduced strategic HR framework and metrics to guide HR performance and support employee engagement.• Launched guidance framework for external partner engagement to improve risk management.

The Global Fund invests US$5 billion a year to defeat HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.I led 7 Global Fund private sector partnerships (Microsoft; Ecobank; Standard Bank; Comic Relief; Ending Workplace TB; Munich Re; Confederation of Indian Industry), delivering financial ($40 million over 3 years) and non-financial resources to drive innovation, transform impact and save lives. I also designed and delivered cross-cutting capacity building projects.Examples:• Led advocacy partnership with Standard Bank in Africa, raising awareness among its 55,000 employees and 10 million customers on HIV awareness, prevention and treatment.• Drove capacity-strengthening partnership with Ecobank, transforming local NGO financial management skills through education programmes in five African countries. • Co-created Ending Workplace TB (“EWTB”) with the World Economic Forum and Johnson & Johnson, a platform catalysing corporate action in the fight against tuberculosis. Launched at Davos 2020, EWTB grew to 20 blue-chip members within a year.• Oversaw partnership with Microsoft, strengthening the capacity of hundreds of Civil Society partners to shift to remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic, and providing zero cost software licenses. • Co-wrote revised Global Fund Engagement Framework with the private sector (partnerships valued at $1 billion+), including governance, ethics, risk management and due diligence protocols.

UNICEF is the world's leading organization working for children in danger.I developed an updated 5-year Resource Mobilization Strategy for UNICEF’s India Office, in consultation with multiple UNICEF stakeholders in India and globally.

The ITC is a UN/WTO development agency supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises.I led a project to build the knowledge management (KM) capabilities of ITC members. These members are chiefly Trade Promotion Organizations located around the world who need to better leverage their institutional knowledge in advising the private sector exporters they serve. Outputs included creation of a KM Framework, best practice resources, handbook, training programme and “train the trainer” sessions delivered in Geneva and Harare.

TMA World is a leader in building global leadership and borderless working skills in Fortune 500 companies.As Chief Operating Officer and member of the Executive Team I worked alongside its two founders to determine the company´s growth strategy and oversee its execution. My remit included directing the strategic priorities of each function in the business (sales, marketing, product development, HR, client resourcing, logistics), providing support while ensuring accountability and optimal performance. I led strategic initiatives to drive performance, e.g.: revised client and profitability assessments; new operations value chain; new sales strategy; corporate rebranding; product usage analysis to drive innovations; talent development strategy. Additionally I oversaw sales and delivery of global learning solutions to British Council, General Electric, General Mills, Lastminute.com, Novartis, Santander and Société Générale.

IE is a major international business school ranked 2nd in the world by the Financial Times. I designed and delivered Cultural Intelligence programs to 2,000 students and executives from 90 nationalities for the Executive MBA, International MBA, Masters in International Relations and Masters in Management programmes.

Allen & Overy is the world’s 12th largest law firm (now A&O Shearman)I advised Managing Partner and Office Heads on business development strategy in key Asian markets. Launched new: Major Account Management Programme (resulting in 15% increased fees from top 10 clients); client and pitch databases; client education programs; integrated public relations strategy. I recruited and developed a team of 16 marketing professionals based in 5 offices. Fomented a marketing cultural shift from broad-based communications to a targeted, commercial approach to winning business and brand building.

Salans is an international law firm (now part of Dentons).At Salans I built a global marketing function from scratch and managed internal and external communications in a period when the firm underwent 4 mergers or acquisitions in 4 years. Besides providing strategic marketing advice and major bid support, in this role there were many ´firsts´: the first global marketing plan; global brand identity; PR function and communications strategy; website; seminar programme; client database; collateral, etc. I recruited and trained 10 marketing professionals based in London, Paris, New York, Moscow and Warsaw (also supporting the firm´s offices in St Petersburg, Kyiv, Almaty and Baku). In my 4 years at Salans the firm doubled in size from the 350 lawyers and 700 staff when I joined. In 2013 it joined several other firms to form Dentons.

PwC is the world’s 2nd largest professional services firm.I supported the business development of PwC´s UK Tax Practice, with responsibility for several Practice-wide initiatives (sales training, online presence, team upskilling), plus specific responsibility for the marketing activity of the VAT and Human Resource Advisory businesses.This role encompassed strategic advice to Senior Partners, sales and bid support, market research, product launches, cross-selling campaigns, PR initiatives, promotional events and marketing collateral.

Barclays is a top-tier global retail, corporate and investment bank.I designed and implemented product campaigns for life, home, critical illness, motor and travel insurance. My largest campaign, on life insurance, was mailed to 1.25 million Britons with their monthly statements and gained a return on investment of over 800% - a huge figure compared with the average.
