Dedicated IT Professional and Electronics/Software Enthusiast.My ultimate goal (desire) is to move laterally within a company and be cross-utilized within a large Network Control Center. My primary interests are in Network Administration, Systems Administration, Network Engineering & Install, Cable Maintenance, Audio/Video, and Systems Security. I accept the challenges within all of these areas and I desire more IT experience overall.The first half of my military career was strictly in WAN technologies and bulk encryption equipment but my mobility deployment years ignited a passion for LAN infrastructure which is much more exciting to me. You see me pictured here in business attire but I am definitely more at home climbing under desks and wiring systems together. My Life Philosophy: If it’s broke, fix it! Analyze the problem, brainstorm solutions, gather support & resources, and implement your plan efficiently. If you can do all of this alone, that’s great. Try to be self-sufficient but if you need help - ask for it! Always keep your leadership informed. With a positive attitude, this process works every time.My love for electronics, software, and programming as a teenager led me on a 21-year journey through a USAF information technology career that culminated in a Computer Information Systems Management degree and multiple industry standard certifications. I plan to continuously advance this knowledge and hands-on experience with my next employer over another successful 20+ year career in IT networks. The CCIE certification is my personal Mount Everest and I am determined to climb it!I have conquered the CompTIA Security+, Network+, and A+ certifications. I am currently working on my CCNA studies (that's my physical CCNA lab in my profile picture). I am willing to obtain any other certifications that my next employer desires of me. The local job market opportunities will be the deciding factor on what certification path I take from here!
