My career was spent with organizations that make a difference in people's lives. My service in non-profit organizations began after three and one-half years in public accounting (where I primarily audited construction companies and non-profits). Highlights include positions as the first Comptroller of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Director of Business and Financial Affairs at Rockhurst University, Controller at Monticello (Thomas Jefferson Foundation) and Senior Deputy Director & CFO at the KUMC Research Institute. My last position was Assistant Director of Facilities and Administration of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. Many of these roles have allowed me to pursue my passion for investments through my involvement in managing or accounting for endowments or a working capital investment portfolio.Specialties: Non-Profit Administration, Federally funded programs, endowment management, higher education and museums.
