I am a respected and accomplished leader with a strong strategic vision, and a record of success. I have 8 years working as an executive in the more traditional gas midstream space leading teams in engineering, operations and project management, where I lead the transition of ATCO’s midstream company, with gas processing capacity >1Bcf/d, by expanding their natural gas depleted reservoir storage capacity, and building their NGL (propane, butane & ethylene) salt cavern storage to over 400,000m3 of capacity. I also lead the expansion of ATCO’s water business by significantly increasing the water intake capacity and adding km’s of new pipeline to provide water to new customers. My passion is to identify lessons of the past to influence our decisions as we look to a low carbon world. This ‘Energy in Transition’ journey is critical to reducing the effects of climate change and moving to a more sustainable society. This low carbon world will be dominated by renewables and low carbon hydrogen, with reliable utility scale storage, especially salt caverns. I am a Chemical Engineer with an MBA specializing in Global Energy from the University of Calgary, who has worked 9 years with the natural gas Utility in Alberta, leading groups in engineering, operations, and construction.Other key interests include: Project Management, Construction, Engineering, energy systems, and alternative energy.
