Supervise ISF LCDC's (6) and Counselor Interns (20) while oordinating with Senior Counselor, Assistant Program Director and Program Director in maintaining accountability of over 560 offenders in corrections utilizing Therapeutic Community (TC) along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Other duties include crisis management and interventions dealing with disruptive offenders and/or dorms. Facilitate all disciplinary program extensions and/or program removals if necessary to protect the integrity of the program, ensuring a chance for change is afforded to all offenders. Previous duties as QCC/LCDC still apply which include treatment planning, counseling, and setting up their aftercare plans.

Duties include training Counselor Interns as they learn all aspects of addiction counseling for offender population getting them ready to complete their LCDC testing at the end of their internship. Will oversee parole dorms as interns provide Cognitive Intervention; Relapse Prevention; Anger Management Skills; and Life Skills utilizing Living In Balance and Thinking For A Change curriculum preparing them for life outside of corrections. Interns will also be given instruction on proper documentation and terminology along with skills which will help them build a rapport with a diverse population of offenders.
