The group has been expanding its market presence through recent acquisitions (2019) and therefore needs to integrate, fine-tune and optimize the EMEA organization as such (16 independent entities). Restoring profitability has been the first priority alongside injecting commercial dynamism to kickstart growth again. Kyocera Senco EMEA has offices in the Netherlands (HQ), Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia. Further target would be to chase growth through M&A activity as the fasteners market is a very mature and consolidating environment. Key Achievements : Grew PBT (Profit Before Tax) from 2.1% to 8.1% whilst boosting cash position (from €15M to €29M). Measures taken: Warehouse consolidation (14 to 8), headcount reduction (FTE from 440 to 320), expanding field force, implementing channel strategy, digitalizing marketing, reviving product management, kickstarting S&OP process, performance management (KPI’s).Acquisition of Atero Decking Tools (Norway, 2022).Merging with TJEP Fasteners (Denmark, 2024).
