Finance Director & Controller
Manage staff of 5 finance personnel. Maintained finance group staff size through business growth tripling in terms of revenue and personnel headcount. ·All Treasury, G/L, A/R, A/P, Payroll, Product Costing, Mfg. Variance Analyses, Inventory Valuation activities·Financial reporting to parent companies via COGNOS Controller, including self created Internal Financial Reporting Package·Annual Budget and Mid-Range (3yr.) Plan preparation, and presentation to management committee·Monthly financial commentary detailing actual results versus plan·Identification of and preparation of company level and operational level Key Performance Indicators, financial and non-financial (productivity, material yields, quality, on-time/in-full shipments, headcount, conversion cost, safety) Driving major improvements in all financial and operational KPI’s.·Margin analysis at customer and product level, singularly responsible for reversing financial results of the company ·Local Lead on all SAP module implementations (Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Finance, Controlling, Costing, Production Planning, Procurement, Business Warehouse)·Support, analyze, and follow-up on LEAN Mfg. initiatives and Kaizen events·Working Capital Management - driving substantial improvement in (DSO / DIO / DPO)·Discounted Cash Flow / Payback calculations supporting Capital Spending Proposals·Annual audit by external auditors·Implementation and maintenance of Internal Controls·Plan and execute annual physical inventory with Logistics personnel·Insurance, Health Benefits Administration, Pension Plan & 401(k) Plan Trustee·Travel internationally for financial presentations and Divisional Finance Meetings
