• Modernized two legacy applications, a property management and an access control / alarm system used in the self storage industry, by rewriting them from the ground up in .NET, C#, and T-SQL using object-oriented, multi-tier design techniques, resulting in robust systems that are flexible, customizable, highly scalable, and maintainable• Implemented SQL Server replication involving 100+ tables, allowing Azure-hosted and local databases to be periodically synchronized• Created a website using ASP.NET MVC for use by customers of self storage facilities facilitating account signups, payments, reservations, electronic signatures, unit rentals, check account status, password resets, etc• Wrote a new Web API using ASP.NET MVC allowing 3rd parties to perform payments, reservations, unit rentals, check customer balances, and other operations• Created many standard and custom reports used for tenant tracking, delinquency tracking, site performance, and financial metrics using Crystal Reports• Wrote a program used for administering licensing of the various products• Created a conversion program used to import unit, size, and customer data from multiple competitor's software systems, making it easier to close sales with customers using the competitor's software, since no manual entry of this data was required• Integrated with multiple credit card processing systems, allowing credit cards to be charged for transactions directly instead of through the credit card machine• Wrote integrations with competitors access control systems, saving customers from having to do "double entry" in their access control system
