As the IT leader for Evil Geniuses, I led a team responsible for managing critical IT functions such as system administration, desktop engineering, network administration, help desk, and procurement. My team is dedicated to providing world-class customer service to all employees and our players, ensuring that their technology needs are met and their productivity is optimized.I work directly with our CEO as the visionaries for how technology can empower our teams, it's my job to identify, plan, execute, and deliver those visions into existence. As the IT Manager for Zillow, I led a team of 14 different individual contributors, including help desk professionals, system administrators, desktop system engineers, and application analysts. My role involved mentoring, developing, coaching, and empowering my team members as it pertains to process, procedures, career goals, personal growth, and ambitions. Our systems included Okta, Active Directory, O365, SCCM, JAMF, and Service-Now.In addition to leading my team, I was responsible for being the IT business partner for several departments, meeting with leaders, recruiters, and trainers from various lines of business to optimize, improve, and create processes to improve the customer experience. I also managed programs pertaining to new hire access automation, meeting with different lines of business to determine new hire permissions, then leveraging Service-Now and Powershell to create automation.I also served as an IT Project Manager and Lead for office decommissioning of several offices, office opening of Seattle, Kansas City, Phoenix offices, and ShowingTime acquisition. For the latter, I onboarded 850 employees, created hardware profiles and default application access for all new ShowingTime job profiles, created and presented IT orientation to the 850 new ShowingTime employees, led IT system/process training for the ShowingTime IT team.Furthermore, I was responsible for organizing and leading weekly IT Standup for 20+ help desk employees, reporting monthly business reviews to senior leadership, being involved in OKR/MBR review and planning, creating and maintaining Zillow IT’s Service level expectation, and managing Zillow's 24/7 on-call help desk team. My experience as an IT leader at Zillow gave me the opportunity to flex my passion of building teams and leveraging technology to drive business growth and success.
