As President of the Document Management division at TransPerfect Legal Solutions, Kaplan was charged with starting from scratch a division offering all services for the litigation process. This group started with Kaplan and three employees, after seven years he grew the division into a multi-million dollar business with multiple production centers, employing over 150 people serving the needs of all of TransPerfect’s domestic and international offices.Oversaw global legal sales, operations and finance of TransPerfect’s Document Management division. TransPerfect is a global service organization located in 65 cities across 22 countries generating over $300 million in annual sales. Division services include electronic data discovery, web hosting, document imaging, coding, printing and reprographics.

Responsible for a $75 million dollar business business working exclusively with law firms and corporate legal departments. Led team consisting of over 1,100 employees across 15 states. Maintained full P&L responsibility and ownership of all sales, operations and finance.At IKON he began his career in the legal group as an Account Manager. After numerous promotions, Kaplan was promoted to Division President. During his tenure at IKON, Kaplan co-authored national programs and trainings including; National Business Development Training, National Marketing Group, National Office Referral Program. In addition he served on the legal Research & Development Board and the Operations Development Team. During his nine years at IKON he won numerous awards, including the highly coveted Outstanding Leader award.
