CurrentAs a Pharmacy Associate at Walgreens, I am responsible for accurately filling and typing prescriptions, ensuring all medications are prepared in accordance with legal and safety standards. My duties also include regular phone calls to patients to update them on their prescription status, remind them of refills, and address any medication-related questions they have.I collaborate closely with pharmacists to manage medication inventories and assist in drug utilization reviews, contributing to overall patient care. Additionally, I provide support to patients with insurance-related issues, including verifying coverage, processing claims, and resolving billing concerns. My role also involves delivering exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and ensuring a positive and efficient pharmacy experience.
