I am a decisive, action oriented, results focused professional, and a focused self-starter with strong problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills. I have over 2 years’ experience in application development, mostly on mainframe systems programming in COBOL, JCL and SAS with some Java, DB2 and IMS experience. I am comfortable and familiar with different programming practices and design techniques including component / OO as well as structured / top down programming. I received my CSM designation from the SCRUM ALLIANCE® proving my deep understanding of Agile principles and practices including Scrum and Kanban. I have demonstrated the ability to work in the Scrum Master Role, leading a large team of 15 developer and BA’s in the development and deployment of a large project delivering a new credit card portfolio to Scotiabank’s Production environment. I am comfortable working under strict deadlines in Agile and Kanban and traditional development settings, including leadership roles creating tasks and managing Jira and scrum/Kanban boards.
