- Overhauled the company's financial and business operations, eventually leading the company through a period of 4x revenue growth and national expansion.- Transformed the company's accounting function into a core competency, eventually passing three audits starting in 2020.- Initiated a highly customized build of Salesforce CRM and designed a unified data platform with integrations across the company's software stack.- Wrote Python scripts to automate data reconciliation across disparate software platforms and programmed custom software to eliminate inefficient accounting spreadsheets.- Responsible for the full suite of capital management including allocation decisions for expansion opportunities and funding strategies.

- Built a niche business of structuring CMOs primarily using 10, 15, 20, and 25 year mortgage collateral; ranked 3rd in 2013 out of all Wall Street firms in issuance of CMOs backed by this collateral.- Developed extensive experience and knowledge of capital markets, risk management, and macroeconomics.- Honed viewpoints on monetary and fiscal policy while managing a $2 billion portfolio of esoteric mortgage assets.- Leveraged expertise in interest rate theory and financial hedging to mitigate the portfolio's interest rate and convexity risk.
