Summit Lights Photography

I founded this business after standing on the top of a jagged, snow-covered mountain 4,000 feet above sea level on Kodiak Island in Alaska. Marveling in its magnificence, I was inspired to make pictures as beautiful as the landscape engulfing me. I made photographs at events and when a local newspaper printed a two-page center spread of my photos, I was captivated with photography as a communication medium. I credit photography with helping me see connections, relationships and patterns. Looking through the lens is seeing things from a different perspective, an ability which translates into creative thinking and exceptional problem solving. As sole proprietor of Summit Lights Photography, I generate books, brochures, photos, and videos. It’s my honor to create images for a variety of businesses and civic organizations. My photographs have appeared on five continents in print, TV, galleries, and museums, including the Museum of Flight and the Smithsonian Institution.
