About Hunter S.
Midwestern values. My time living in Ohio taught me about working hard and being humble through my life to be successful. It also taught me to follow my passions. I have lived through these values my entire life. I have always had a passion for mathematics and statistics. My time at Clemson has only reinforced this belief. Though this major is definitely not the easiest, my midwestern values give me the motivation to get through this to follow my dreams. I can think of no better example of this than my efforts to prepare for the Actuarial FM exam for June of 2020. After my spring semester was over, I spent the month of May studying over 30 hours a week to prepare for that exam. That hard work paid off as I passed the exam with a 9.Outside of school I am an avid sports consumer, less than proficient fisherman, and golfer. I take a lot of time to keep up with the current sports environment for both major and college level athletes. On weekends I can more than likely be found in sand traps doing my best David Hasselhoff impression.
