Capture and edited a diverse set events for Central Michigan Life to tell a story of an event. Assist with story planning, pitching events to cover on and outside of campus. Pitching new online shows, content to modernize the paper multimedia. Conducted extensive research to compile biographical content and current information in preparation for interviews.

Create written and visual content, produce up to date topics on the music industry. Educate and consult consumers and artist on how to navigate today’s music space with in-depth segments. Examine albums, singles, and artist career profiles. Establishes a relationship with listeners by providing entertainment and information of interest consistent with genre, and targeted demographic audience.

Engage listeners through researched talk sets to generate honest and passionate discussions that contribute to public understanding of issues related to the music industry. Use creativity judgment in writing, music selection, producing, interviewing, taping or broadcasting of on-air material. Hosted a Hip Hop radio show called “Live & Effect” and co-host the radio show “Watchtower” using ENCO. Conducted and edited on-air interviews with musicians and student organization leaders.

Critique and interviewed Fashion Designers, Musicians, Hip Hop Artists, and Public Figures to create compelling stories for digital distribution. Monitored news cycles to identify potential stories and provide commentary or insight. Ensured all content met established AP guidelines for journalistic integrity and production quality.
