Mr. Spada has successfully negotiated and settled many multi-million dollar complex construction project and corporate disputes and has effectively and expeditiously obtained court rulings in his clients’ favor. He represents owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, architects, engineers and sureties, and is intricately involved with construction projects in the private, public, and the affordable and supportive housing sectors including commercial and residential buildings, schools, hospitals, religious institutions, and infrastructure projects for New York’s energy, water, roadways, bridges, and subways. Mr. Spada’s experience includes contract drafting and negotiation, disputes regarding payment, change orders, scope of work, construction defects, delay claims, mechanic’s liens, bond claims, termination and insurance claims. He also represents owners, developers and contractors on neighboring property disputes with an established track record of successfully negotiating license agreements and litigating RPAPL 881 proceedings.
