I strongly believe in the power of education to change lives. For over 20 years, I taught students ranging from middle schoolers just beginning in French language to high school seniors learning advanced placement economics. I currently serve as Virtual Virginia's professional learning coordinator where I plan, implement, and refine learning opportunities for educators throughout the commonwealth. When not on the job I enjoy hobby landscape painting, trying to make music (on both piano and ukulele) and travel. As much as possible I also try to keep up with my very active high-school-age daughter!I am always eager both to learn new and exciting ways to improve my professional practice and to share what I have learned with others.
