DIRECTED ENERGY TEST ENGINEER (2013)Served as an integral part of the engineering team, designing and executing testing for the Directed Energy Warfare Office “DEWO” (Q22) at NSWC Dahlgren. Leveraged knowledge in test planning, test execution, and data reduction on effects data, as well as LABVIEW virtual instruments for test automation. • Authored and executed 4 Test Management Plans for Directed Energy, Vessel Disruption systems. • Completed tests and compiled data utilizing GTEM; performed tests on a reverberation chamber and ground plane in addition to conducting ‘live’ tests on water. COMMUNICATIONS IPT LEAD / FIELD TEST ENGINEERServed as an integral part of the organization, moving through progressive roles and providing exceptional leadership to administer the Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAAV) program, supporting the USMC Program Manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA); this program was later renamed the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV). • Managed the Communications System Integrated Product Team (IPT), in addition to overseeing the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking; contributed to the development of proposals and drafted Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Justification at a task level.• Served as a Control Account Manager (CAM, aka: Cost Account Manager), leading a diverse engineering team on a compressed schedule throughout a reliability redesign and aggressive System Design and Development phase (SDD), including PDR and CDR.• Piloted the communication system design for EFV; complied with aggressive testing schedules throughout Operational Assessment (OA) into design updates. • Administered specialized subcontractors and direct engineers; held accountability for C4ISR sub-systems including military radios (PRC-117, PRC-150, SINCGARS, etc.) in multiple bands - HF, VHF, UHF (Satcom and Voice), as well as three different intercom systems (VIC-3, TOCNET, and MESHnet).
