With a career spanning over 30 years in education, I have served as a high school teacher, coach, award-winning journalism teacher and yearbook adviser, assistant principal, and principal. I was honored with the prestigious R.E.B. Award for Excellence in Leadership.As a dedicated servant leader, I have always prioritized the needs and growth of my students, colleagues, and community. During my tenure as principal, I successfully guided my school community through a challenging name change process and led the rebranding of the school amidst the complexities of the pandemic. This experience showcased my ability to manage significant transitions and build consensus under pressure.As a third-degree blackbelt and former martial arts instructor, I apply the discipline and focus of martial arts to my professional endeavors and personal daily living. As a mentor to other school leaders and teachers, I have impacted thousands of lives, sharing my insights and fostering growth and development in the education community.
