Steven is President of AVID Group®. Steven established AVID Group® in 1991 as a civil engineering firm with a focus on commercial development. Steven has since lead firm’s expansion into a full-service consulting firm offering civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, traffic/transportation services, environmental sciences, green consulting and surveying services for both the private and public sector with offices in Tampa Bay, Orlando and Jacksonville. Steven is directly responsible for strategic planning and direction, business development and client relations. Steven contributes to all phases of project development, from conceptual design through construction completion and occupancy. Steven is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.As an active speaker and writer on regional and national retail and development issues, Steve has been a featured speaker at the ICSC Florida Conference and Southeast Regional Conferences as well as been featured in, Florida Real Estate Journal, The Sun Sentinel, Tampa Tribune, St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Zweig Letter and the Orlando Sentinel among others.Steven has been an active member of ICSC for over 18 years. He has held several ICSC leadership positions including Chairman of the Florida Conference in 2006 and Chaiman of the West Florida Conference in 2012. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Pinellas County and the The Skills Center, Inc. and is an active member of NAIOP, REIC, ASCE, FES and ITE.
