As one of 2 systems administrators at PAE, I take on many roles. My main function is to act as first line IT support for our 160+ employees on site at Sheppard AFB and to perform functional system administrator duties for our 2 civil engineering systems, ACES and IWIMS. Since we are a contractor on a military installation, for anything that I cannot fix right away I act as liaison between our employees and the Communications Squadron to resolve any government network issues or anything requiring higher level authorization. At the same time we maintain a separate and isolated network for non-government business that we support in conjunction with our corporate PAE IT support. As an Advanced Repair Agent, I am the one behind the scenes executing the fixes agreed upon by our clients and Consultation Agents. Some of my duties include:¤ Operating system repair due to virus infection or file corruption¤ Data management including backups and recovery¤ Hardware repair at all levels ranging from minor component replacement to full system builds¤ Client communication during service including status updates and information requests¤ Use of remote support tools in conjunction with Geek Squad Secret Weapon and Covert Agents¤ As the senior Agent on duty, training and support of Consultation, Operations, and Customer Service Agents along with Sales Associates on Geek Squad services, capabilities, and turn times.

Before the change to the US Operating Model (USOM), the Counter Operations Agent was in charge of greeting clients at the Geek Squad counter, troubleshooting their issues, and consulting them regarding Geek Squad's services and policies. They were in charge of the entire cilent interaction -- checking the clients' suspects in for repair, communicating with them throughout the process, and finally processing their pickup and demonstrating the fixes performed by the Counter Intelligence Agents.

Duties included customer service and maintaining store marketing schematics along with operating a register and executing point-of-sale sales pitches such as discount cards, magazine subscriptions, and charitable donations. Handled transactions with a high level of accuracy and was never found to have a register with too much or too little funds.

Duties included clerical work (filing documents, answering phones/e-mail, mail merges), moderation of an online forum, correspondence with students and faculty, planning and organizing events, building and maintaining MS Access databases and MS Excel spreadsheets and responsible use of the university student information system which included such privileged information as SSN's, GPA's and other federally confidential information.

Duties included supervising students at all practices and performances, teaching marching band drill and music, maintaining equipment, and teaching private lessons.
