Director Of Engineering
Transform the engineering practices from tightly-coupled, monolithic architectures into operationally robust microservice architectures. Identify foundation for new engineering practices, training staff on new technologies, and address key product challenges impacting execution.• Develop the teams and organizational alignment for improving the telehealth service through implementation of loosely-coupled microservices. Benefits include reduction of operational overhead, embedded failure detection and recovery, and increase of agility integrating new partner systems.• Design and build Rewards Platform to capture and reward specific user actions. Event-driven design allows for independent teams to create new rewarded activities with minimal dependency on the Rewards team. • Transition core functionality out of the legacy monolith implementation into independent services to increase agility for both product development and operational overhead. Develop and execute a plan for service extraction of pharmacies and pharmaceutical functionality without disrupting any existing dependency on the monolith.
