Lead a team, consisting of in house and off shore software engineers, through assigned projects in a deadline driven environment. Held responsibility for organizing regular team meetings to gather project status, in order to prioritize and delegate work accordingly. Maintained and managed multiple project schedules, and regularly communicated status to.

Installed, maintained, and supported systems for the purpose of hosting high-availability WWW applications. Assisted with new hardware, software and application installations, upgrades and troubleshooting. Provided quality assurance and diagnostic support for over 90 servers across infrastructures located at internal as well as commercial hosting.

Worked closely with a team of engineers to design WWW applications for manipulating, publishing, and displaying data stored in Oracle databases. Worked separate from the team to completely refactor an existing PERL application using Java/JSP, greatly enhancing its performance. Developed unique solutions for parsing customer supplied data files, and loading.

I was selected by ICC to fill an open development position for Bell & Howell Publication Systems. There I was trained to assume the duties of a resigning Bell & Howell WWW application developer. I grew to really enjoy the group of people I worked with, and the atmosphere provided by the company. I left ICC in February 1998 to pursue a full time development.

Employed as a Tier 1 Help Desk associate, diagnosing and alleviating customer’s problems over the telephone and via e-mail for a startup ISP. Concurrently, designed and developed WWW pages and applications for local businesses. I left the company in 1997 to accept a development opportunity through Information Control Corporation.
