Growing up as the son of two Dominican immigrants in The Bronx, NY, I quickly grasped that the American Dream isn't guaranteed to everyone. As a first-generation American, I navigated through trials and errors, initially aiming to pursue a career in Civil Engineering, yet finding my path led me to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and as a Healthcare Specialist in the Army.
