At ServiceNow, my official title is SVP & GM, Public Sector. I’m lucky to have a role that I wake up each day and am passionate about. I work with a great team of employees, partners, and customers. It’s a fantastic, supportive culture where we help each other succeed and grow. My career started in the Army as a Second Lieutenant and over eight years I was able to do many great things finishing my Army career as a Company Commander. In the military, I developed a passion for leading and the experiences I gained drove me to the position I am in today. One of my strengths is developing a salesforce that’s process-oriented; I learned the importance of process, clear communication, delegation, and empowerment in the Army. The team I lead at ServiceNow is focused on helping the Public Sector bring data and systems together to: -Strengthen mission resiliency -Understand and define the future work -Drive not just digital transformation, but digital acceleration That often means addressing inoperability between current data & systems, developing net new capabilities, or modernizing systems without having to rip out and replace. I encourage my team to think big, act with empathy, and focus on customer outcomes. Our goal is to truly partner with you. I’m a firm believer in opportunities. Sometimes the best person for a role may not look the strongest on paper, but they can bring a level of character and passion that is infectious to everyone on the team and adds to our culture. I’m never afraid to ask why, try something new and I get excited by people who look at a situation from a different perspective and challenge traditional thinking. Family is important to me as well. When I’m not at work I love to spend time with them. My children are active in a variety of sports, and we are often coaching or traveling.
