I bring many years of experience leading services in health and care across the public and third sector. Throughout my career, in both the NHS and charities, my work has been focused on helping people to improve their physical and emotional health, and improve the quality of their life. At Cruse I worked with our amazing team of volunteers and staff to develop and implement our new strategy “Bereaved People First” – increasing our reach, broadening our range of services and strengthening our governance. We increased our income, reach, influence and profile together with launching a new brand, website and CRM.As a bereavement charity we rose to the challenge of the Covid 19 pandemic. Through this awful crisis, Cruse adapted, grew, and developed so bereaved people continued to receive the vital support they desperately needed.Alongside my senior paid roles my expertise in charity governance, fundraising and service delivery has contributed to my successful work on charity boards, as Chair of Richmond CAB and currently as Vice Chair of the River Thames Boat Project.#charity #leadership #CEO #COO #governance #volunteering #transfomation
