Both agile and waterfall methodologies were used to manage these projects.As the Project Delivery lead in the portfolio I was responsible for;• Governance – meeting regularly with the project managers to review their projects, focusing on; progress, milestones, costs, risks, issues, change control, lessons learnt and documentation• Prioritisation – Reviewing regularly the portfolio with senior management to agree project priorities in conjunction with resource plans and business cases• Resource Management – Working with the product team leads and senior management to ensure all resource availability, capacity and capability was fully understood• Project initiation and setup – Working with all project requestors and SME’s to develop a business case, approach, scope, cost to secure financial approval from the sponsor• Delivery improvements – leading in the development of processes to manage projects, prioritisation, resource management and programme delivery• Reporting • Project advisor, mentor and coach to the project managers - Bi-weekly 1:2:1 with project managers to discuss any challenges (projects, performance, personal or career progression) - Chair bi-weekly team meeting to build and develop the team • Portfolio budget control – Working with the finance team on portfolio change budgets for future demand
