Formed Challenge St Helens to organise something positive for the people of St Helens. Encouraging them to get active and raise money to support local charities in the process.Managed to get 600 people to take part in the inaugural race/fun run (Oct 2008) with the help of some high profile sponsorship from Pilkington, Mayfield Construction, Land Rover, Church Square Shopping Centre and NHS St Helens and Knowsley.Sadly however, struggled to raise the sponsorship to fund the 2009 event when the recession hit. Still hoping to find the time and energy to re-ignite the passion this event sparked in the local community and beyond.
