Leading and managing teams (up to 8 direct reports, 75 in total) that created and maintained systems that exploit information across the whole TP group. Some of the most significant areas of responsibility included our eCommerce solutions, Finance systems, Business Intelligence, Marketing and CRM, Loyalty, Pricing Intelligence, Performance Reporting, B2B eTrading and Kitchen & Bathroom Systems (incl. CAD).Responsible for delivering the multichannel programme of work at Travis Perkins. Built, maintained and improved websites and mobile solutions, including service-based integration with all core systems including POS, Finance, Supply Chain, Stock and Product Data.Led the adoption of Agile ways of working to the development teams in the multichannel area.

I moved out of EPOS / Store Systems to pick up responsibility for the Central Systems for the TP group. Reporting to the Development Manager I led four software development teams working with Head Office Functions at Travis Perkins Group. Included : Finance systems, HR and Reward systems, Marketing and CRM, Business Intelligence, Performance Reporting, Data Management, B2B e-Trading, e-Commerce, Intranet and Extranet.

Leading a software development team that grew to over 20, including an onshore/offshore partnership with Keane International, based in Chennai, India.Responsible for developments to the in-house bespoke POS system including a complete rewrite, support and migration of acquisitions and enhancements to the system to launch the Benchmarx brand.

Joined as a graduate trainee and progressed to lead individual projects of significant size, risk and complexity.
