- Provide professional cost consultancy services to the US development/construction industry. - Detailed level estimating in Commercial, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Industrial, Hospitality, Education, Residential, and Retail markets.- Change order review and analysis to validate costs.- Review contractor bids and provide accurate spreads to ensure full and accurate buyout. - Provide cost analysis and benchmarking studies to help drive project decisions from project inception to project closeout.- Provide value engineering suggestions with pricing for cost reduction.- Provide feedback on contracts related to projects.- Review soft costs and provide analysis for complete budget establishment.

- Establish cost controls & change management for use by project management throughout the lifecycle of a project. - Design and document cost and change control processes, including contractual requirements to be incorporated into vendor MSA. - Provide cost analysis and benchmarking studies to help drive project decisions from project inception to project closeout. - Proactively estimate projects based on unit cost estimates and unique site conditions while providing both conceptual and programmatic estimates as well as detailed estimates. - Develop estimating programs that provide ad-hoc, or detailed output, informed by site conditions and design documents, leveraging internal benchmarking database. - Provide value engineering suggestions with pricing for cost reduction. - Compile project-specific data from real estate, design, and construction teams in early phases of project development. - Review contractor bids in detail to ensure that all pricing is accurate and in Rivian standard format. Request subcontractor backup where needed to confirm costs and understand bid at a detailed level. - Engage, liaise, coordinate with the various stakeholders and departments for Facilities Construction projects (e.g. Workplace, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.); “The Customers”.

Project engineer duties for a 6-story 150,000 sf structural steel frame type II office structure in Ontario, CA. - Monitor / control construction by managing the work of the project support personnel and by working closely with the on-site sub-contractors and field crews. - Process submittals and ensure efficiency for all required materials. - Find and establish RFIs for all required issues. - Update schedule using Primavera. - Help establish meeting minutes with project management team. - Implement and help create SWPPP according to the site with the civil engineer. - Coordinate punch list items with necessary contractors.

Work closely with the facilities management team that required material procurement for repairs on campus.- Order construction material for all construction trades.- Forklift all new orders and deliver to proper destination.- Organize warehouse stock- Work closely with tradesmen and provide all of the necessary material for campus upkeep.
