At Berklee College of Music, I work as the Director User Experience with Pre-College, Online, and Professional Programs (Berklee POPP) teams to design and design and develop the Online School's consumer-facing sites, learning management system, degree application systems, self-service systems, digital marketing assets, and internal systems. The online school has grown from 9M to 65M+ during the time I have spent leading the UX efforts. My role delivers initiatives that reside at the intersection of marketing, design, and technology.To learn from, and gain experience outside of Higher ed, I have worked with and advised Kliks.io, a top and emerging mileage reimbursement company, and CivicServe, an all-in-one economic development solution. Prior to these companies, I was a co-founder and the User Experience Lead at modernEmarkets, a retail company that created vertically focused retail marketplaces. Bumblebean.com was the first marketplace fusing the best specialty brands and experts for the moms, kids, and babies space.During my time consulting and at Optaros, I led UX project efforts with great Financial, Retail, Media, and Services clients including Fidelity, Swisscom, Sony's Movielink (one of the earliest streaming companies), MCCA, FOX Broadcasting, Rue La La, New York Times, and others.The skills I possess & practice daily: design, Information design, prototyping, design, usability, functional analysis, visual requirement gathering, and front end coding expertise including HTML, CSS, SASS, Less, HAML, TypeScript, React, Astro, JavaScript, Rails, Python, PHP, jQuery, Bootstrap, NextUI, and digital marTech solutions (landing page and email template and component design and coding with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo and others).
