Major goals included developing local managers in trading techniques, middle office re-pricing and back office reconcilement, expanding the role of an independent risk management function, reducing the possibility for corruption through segregation of duties and automation to reduce manual processes. After three years of on the job experience and a promotion to examiner grade, I lead junior examiners in the appraisal of risks in the lending area and in treasury and trading activities and in the review of corporate governance.
