Steve’s primary investment focus is enterprise and cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, workflow automation and artificial intelligence.Prior to founding Valley Capital Partners, Steve founded large scale cloud computing pioneer and OpenStack creator, Nebula (backed by Kleiner Perkins, Comcast Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Highland Capital Partners), which was acquired by Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) in 2014. In 1999, Steve founded leading U.S. metro optical carrier, OnFiber Communications (backed by Kleiner Perkins, Bear Stearns, Carlyle, GE, Bechtel), which was acquired by Qwest (NYSE: Q) in 2007. In 1994, Steve founded CoreLogic, the leading developer of RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) processors in the virtual chip market.
