I am first and foremost a Security Consultant specialising in High Risk Environments. I enjoy all aspects of my chosen profession, from working with clients on the ground to running operations and logistics on key projects.Whilst working on a security project, my remit often includes but is not limited to the following:• Devise a security plan for the project• Hire, assess and train expat security team personnel for projects• Create a pre-deployment risk assessment• Implement and evolve the security plan over the project term• Give security briefings to the Clients, Team and support personnel• HEAT Training (Hostile Environment Awareness Training)• Control finance budgets and forecasts for the term of the project• Audit and procurement of project assets as necessary• Hire and train Local National Security/Support personnel if necessary• Liaise with various government departments (project specific)• Liaise and coordinate with various support groups and security companies• Coordinate journey management and logistics for inbound/outbound staff• Set up and deploy IT infrastructure if needed• Incident management and reporting
