- Managed design and development of the remote control, set top box and custom power supply. - Managed product builds through Prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT and MP. - Ensured FATP line and supply chain were ready to exit each manufacturing stage, established the line’s requirements, and ensured its readiness.- Overcame a no-bid problem from a key CM (Pegatron) due to injection molded part complexity by utilizing my supplier network, resulting in better pricing and technical capabilities to meet the project requirements.- Directed the company’s production by developing budgets for tooling and fixtures- Reviewed and approved DFM, Mold Flow, tooling plans, FAI, CpK’s and tolerance analysis.- Engineering and hardware teams shut down after being acquired by Rovi.Selected Achievements:- Overcame no-bid problem from key CM (Pegatron) due to part complexity by utilizing supplier network, which resulted in better pricing and technical capabilities to meet project requirements.
