I started working career at Telecom (NZPO) in 1977, left in 1990 to start own Installation and Services business. Key achievements: Head contractor for Clear Communications installing Automatic toll dialler's (ATD's) nationwide, Provided training services to Telecom NZ around the North Island. Sold the business then worked as Technical manager at Ericsson Business Center until it was purchased by Connect NZ (2001). At CNZ I took on the role of Service Manager responsible for PBX techs, Document techs and the Service Centre. In this position i was responsible for establishing best practice processes for all departments and improve the synergy between sales and service to achieve excellent outcomes for the customer.In 2009 I accepted a Product management role of the ShoreTel product for a new distribution company in New Zealand called idvio Ltd. (idvio ltd is owned by Connect NZ Ltd). ShoreTel offers a comprehensive suite of products in the UC arena. these include telephony, contact center and mobility. In this role I was responsible for the following areas of business:-Retaining and on boarding partners and getting sales targets met.Pre-sales design & consultancy, customer presentations and product demo's, issue resolutionSpecial pricing requestedRenewing support agreements between customer and supplierUpon advising idvio/CNZ of my intention to move to the UK for an indefinite period I was asked to undertake a 1 year special project in the Connect NZ Group's NOC, assisting with streamlining processes and managing the team.Left for the UK May 2015. Working and travelling during the next 2 and a bit years.Specialties: Large experience in Voice solutions including; Pre Sales Engineering, Building Cabling, Project Management, Contact center, Training and Installation & maintenance of PBX's. dealing with customers and resellers.
