I’m a structural engineer with over 30 years of experience that spans several industries: military, healthcare, process and industrial, medical, manufacturing, commercial and more. My project experience includes work in concrete, steel and masonry structures ranging in size and complexity, from single-story masonry shear walls with bar joist roof framing for theater/auditorium design to multi-story concrete framed hospital expansions and multi-story composite steel framed arenas and stadiums. I’ve been involved in all aspects of a project, including design coordination with owners, construction documents, and construction administration. In my current role at TK Architects, I lead the structural department with projects primarily focused on the entertainment industry, from schematic design through issuing of contract documents, to the completion of construction administration. For the past 21 years, I’ve also been a member of the U.S. Navy and currently a Commander attached as the Officer Naval Facilities. Through my experience in the Navy, which includes two deployments to date, I’ve gained invaluable leadership and training experience, and learned the true meaning of teamwork. I rely on this experience to guide my projects through successful completion. I’m passionate about what I do and the solutions our team delivers for clients. If you’d like to learn more about how our team can help you, send me a message and I’d be happy to connect.Specialties:Structural EngineeringSteel DesignConcrete DesignFoundation DesignMasonry DesignLEEDConstruction Management & AdministrationStructural Analysis
