Initially appointed as trainer to instruct on a range of specialist subjects to support the needs of the field Army. After a short time was elevated to course manager, responsible for the planning and day to day running of courses.• As course manager, I was required to monitor student progress and give advice to senior staff so appropriate decisions could be made relating to student progression. I was also required to give advice and direction to colleagues to ensure fairness and clarity throughout testing regimes.• Implemented change so training remained dynamic and reactive to the ever-changing environments in which the Army works.• Forged relationships with external units to provide additional trainers which provided the students with expert training on additional subjects which enhanced the value of the course.• Maintained lesson content and delivered instruction as required on a wide range of subjects. Offering advice and guidance to students to ensure course training objectives were achieved.• Provided training support and advice in the development of new courses to external units.• Organised team building events to maintain morale and effectiveness of colleagues.

Employed as the logistics manager for an operational unit and an operational training unit. Responsible for the day to day management and accounting of materiel and personnel.• Management and accounting of unit stores and equipment in excess of approximately 5 million pounds. This included control of access to high security locations, distribution and accounting of high security weapons and equipment.• Responsible for the management of maintenance of key systems to ensure servicing timelines were met and operational effectiveness was maintained. • Planned and implemented the administration requirements to support sub-unit level training and course delivery.• Management of stores personnel to ensure task were prioritized and completed in good time.

Employed as manager for up to 50 personnel at various locations. Responsible for day to day training and maintenance of discipline, career planning and course management for members of the unit. Deputised for senior staff when required. During training, I was responsible for planning and conducting any administrative requirements, this involved liaison with the unit logistics manager and also external units.
