* Served as technical team lead of three developers (one in the United States and two in Germany) in developing a new User Directory Service to replace existing directory service integrations for various software products. * Served as technical lead on a team of five developing an XSLT forms module as a new customer-directed development product.* Served as technical lead of a team of three in development of .NET port of the company’s API product. * Co-developed design for adding directory synchronization against LDAP and NTLM to the company’s Livelink Unite web portal product.* Designed integration of SSL module into the company’s Livelink Unite web portal product.* Assisted with Solaris port of the myLivelink CORBA based product.* Managed the project to add SSL to the Livelink API product suite as a new product named Livelink Secure Connect using RSA security software in C/C++.* Along with one other team member, developed the Livelink BASIS module to integrate technologies from Information Dimensions and Open Text following the acquisition using proprietary OScript language.

* Designed and implemented generic search, display, add, update, and delete workflow for the next version of the company’s library automation software written in Microsoft ASP and Javascript.* Completed design and implementation of ISAPI WEBserver gateway. * Developed system level code to support migration of the company’s database product from UNIX to NT. Ported the sequential and direct access I/O subsystems involving asynchronous I/O processing.* Ported the system layer routines in support of the company’s direct and remote API including I/O, process control, C runtime abstraction layer, etc.* Assisted with the resolution of problems in the database server communication layer on UNIX and NT.* Designed and maintained automated build scripts for the company’s database software on NT using PERL5. These automated builds were used to compile over two million lines of code.* Rewrote part of the client install to remove the use of asynchronous I/O in order to support Windows 95.

* Designed and implemented new functionality for the BASIS API product in C. This API is client/server oriented and provides access to the full-featured extended relational database product. * New features implemented handled sub-transaction processing, new field information availability, and new data usages. Modified existing communications code to handle new packets for these new features.* Maintained and developed patches to the BASIS database engine in response to customer reported problems. My primary area of expertise was in handling the translation module which converts the native data storage type of the database engine into various other data types.

* Development of GUI XVT Window applications, C programs, SYBASE* database design, UNIX shell programs, Transact-SQL, and SQR programs* Designed workflow to suit customer requirements by creating and implementing workflow diagrams* Provided database administration including granting access, creating tables, and tuning SQL performance, etc.* Developed nightly post cycle flow for reconciliation between the workflow system and the mainframe.* Maintained an administration system written in Micro Focus COBOL to support the variable life business.* Provided technical support to the programming and customer staff for Microsoft DOS and Microsoft Windows* Recommended software and hardware purchases for a programming staff of 26
