In my career, I have been fortunate to partner with remarkable brands and organizations like Kroger, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cold Stone Creamery, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Clif Bar, OhioHealth, Fry’s Food Stores, MedStar Health, MGM and Sony to name a few. Through it all, my focus has always been on developing a better understanding of consumers in order to create better experiences.After spending the first half of my career in marketing and advertising, I evolved to focus on understanding the needs, motivations, and decision-making drivers of people in order to design more effective customer and patient experiences. Today, I'm privileged to be part of the team at Cast & Hue as we utilize human-centered design to create experiences, marketing strategies, and innovations that meet and exceed expectations while driving tangible business results. We accomplish this by partnering with our clients and their stakeholders, leading with frameworks including Jobs-to-be-Done, Journey Mapping, Design Thinking, and Systems Thinking. Our work lives at the intersection of design and behavioral science, focusing on the journeys people take with organizations and why they make decisions. Harnessing the power of empathy, we uncover insights around the functional, emotional, and social needs that motivate behaviors and shape perceptions. In the last few years, the team has applied this approach to organizations such as OhioHealth, P.F. Changs, Sharp Health Plan, Henkel, Arizona Department of Economic Security, MedStar Health, Insight, and the United Way.
