A career professional Corporate Facilities Manager.My career began as a Building Operator at Sherway Gardens Mall where i had the fortune of working with a team that became my teachers and mentors while I worked and took my B.E.S from Seneca college. I left Sherway after the management company was changed and the internal changes that resulted.I had even more good fortune to land at Cara Operations ltd where i began as a mailroom clerk working for a boss that turned into the biggest influence on my professional career. Under her guidance I quickly moved up to Assistant Facilities Manager for Cara and had developed a reputation that positioned me to be her replacement upon retirement. I took over as Cara Facilities Manager during our companies transition in a newly designed and constructed Corporate Head Office.Over my Career I have worked on all sides of the property equation, from the landlords side, to a tenant.. to shared (sole tenant) and had the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and fun projects. Some highlights include completely renovation a 40,000 sq' floor from traditional cubicles and offices into a full open concept with new furniture and NO walls, and this was all completed in one weekend.I also enjoy many challenging rolls and projects during the construction of and transition into our new head office.
